Trust Center

Trust should be understandable.

MarketingStride helps organizations understand how AI systems may interpret their website content. We believe the same clarity should apply to how MarketingStride handles customer information, protects access to the platform, generates outputs, and communicates the boundaries of what the Service can and cannot promise.

This Trust Center provides a straightforward view of our current approach to privacy, security, AI-assisted analysis, technical access, reliability, and customer support.

01

Privacy & Customer Data

Your content remains yours.

Customers retain ownership of the website content, business information, files, URLs, and other Customer Data they provide to MarketingStride. Using MarketingStride does not transfer ownership of that content to us.

MarketingStride uses Customer Data only as reasonably necessary to provide and support the Service, generate analyses and implementation artifacts, maintain security and system integrity, improve platform functionality, and meet applicable legal obligations, as described in our Terms and Privacy Policy.

MarketingStride does not sell Customer Data.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information for purposes such as analytics, service improvement, benchmarking, research, security, and operations when that information does not reasonably identify a customer, individual, or customer website as the source.

Data lifecycle and privacy requests

MarketingStride maintains internal data-handling and account-lifecycle practices intended to keep customer information tied to a legitimate operating purpose rather than retained without governance.

For details about the information we collect, how we use it, and available privacy choices or requests, review our Privacy Policy.

02

Security & Access

Security is designed into how the service operates.

MarketingStride uses technical and operational safeguards appropriate to the current platform and stage of the business. Our security approach focuses on protecting authenticated customer access, limiting privileged access, preserving customer-data boundaries, protecting sensitive configuration, and maintaining evidence around important operational controls.

Our current practices include

  • authenticated access to protected customer application areas
  • account access controls and owner-scoped data boundaries
  • restricted use of privileged credentials and server-side administrative access
  • multi-factor authentication on verified founder/operator accounts across launch-critical providers where supported and configured
  • separation of public content from protected application and operational surfaces
  • controls intended to prevent customer-facing access from bypassing commercial, entitlement, or authorization boundaries
  • internal evidence and review of launch-critical provider access and configuration
  • deliberate handling of secrets, sensitive configuration, and nonpublic technical information

MarketingStride does not represent that every provider offers or centrally enforces identical security controls. Important provider-specific controls and limitations are evaluated based on the access model in use.

We limit what we publish about security internals. Transparency does not require exposing details that could weaken security or reveal protected implementation mechanics. Public security information is intentionally presented at a level useful to customers and reviewers without publishing credentials, raw configuration, detailed architecture, vulnerability information, protected prompts, scoring mechanics, or other restricted material.

If your organization has a security or vendor-review question that is not answered here, contact us at support@marketingstride.com.

03

AI & Generated Outputs

MarketingStride evaluates. Customers remain in control.

MarketingStride is designed to help organizations understand how their existing website content may be interpreted by AI systems and identify opportunities for improvement.

The Service may produce analyses, reports, Q&A, structured-data guidance, JSON-LD guidance, AI Discovery Files, LLMs.txt files where supported, and other implementation artifacts derived from the content and evidence available to the Service.

Generated Outputs are intended to support customer decision-making. Customers remain responsible for reviewing Generated Outputs before implementation or publication. MarketingStride does not automatically modify or publish changes to a customer's website unless a feature expressly provides that functionality and the customer chooses to use it.

We do not promise outcomes we cannot control.

AI systems, search platforms, crawlers, and third-party services operate independently and change over time.

MarketingStride does not guarantee

  • inclusion or citation in an AI-generated answer
  • search or AI ranking position
  • traffic increases
  • revenue or conversion outcomes
  • continued behavior of a third-party AI or search platform

Our goal is to provide useful, evidence-grounded analysis and implementation guidance while preserving clear boundaries between what MarketingStride evaluates and what outside systems ultimately do.

AI-assisted development and governance

AI-assisted tools may support internal development and review under documented human-review and prohibited-input rules. Customer-facing claims about specific AI providers or provider data-use practices are made only when the applicable provider/account evidence supports the exact statement.

04

Technical Access & Crawler Transparency

Website owners should be able to identify MarketingStride activity.

MarketingStride uses a public crawler identity for authorized automated website evaluations.

How to identify us in your logs

MarketingStrideBot/1.0 (+https://marketingstride.com/crawler-info)

MarketingStrideBot is intended to make MarketingStride evaluation activity identifiable in website logs and easier for website owners, IT teams, security reviewers, and procurement teams to understand.

For supported evaluations, MarketingStrideBot evaluates publicly accessible website content in connection with customer-authorized evaluations. It does not require source-code access, CMS credentials, passwords, or API keys, and it is not designed to bypass login-only content, WAF rules, or website security controls.

MarketingStride uses a hybrid approach to robots and technical access rather than making a blanket compliance claim. Request behavior is bounded, while implementation details that could create unsupported access or allowlisting expectations remain internal.

The crawler identity is for transparency. It is not authentication, authorization, an allowlisting guarantee, or a commitment to a static IP address.

MarketingStride maintains a separate technical page explaining crawler identity, evaluation purpose, request behavior, robots/access posture, and support contact without exposing internal implementation details.

05

Reliability & Support

We treat operational reliability as an ongoing practice.

MarketingStride maintains internal monitoring, incident-handling, launch/release evidence, and operational review practices for important customer and platform paths. These practices help us identify issues, understand customer impact, and support recovery when something goes wrong.

MarketingStride does not publish a guaranteed uptime percentage, recovery-time objective, recovery-point objective, or incident-response time unless such a commitment is expressly provided in a separate applicable agreement or service level commitment.

Need help?

Customers access support through MarketingStride customer-facing channels rather than the internal systems we use to manage support work.

Our approach to trust

Trust is not a badge or a one-time project.

MarketingStride's approach is to maintain evidence for the controls and operating practices we rely on, keep public statements narrower than the evidence supports, and update our trust posture as the Service and customer requirements evolve.

We do not claim certifications, legal protections, service levels, or technical capabilities that have not been established.

As MarketingStride grows, this Trust Center will evolve with it.
